Definition of me:

My number one passion in life is music…it shapes me, inspires me, lifts me up, breaks my heart and always, always adds beauty to my life.

I have fleeting days of creativity. I like to think of myself as a writer, but I don’t think I do enough of it to qualify. I wish I were more motivated to write because I’m fairly good at it…

My family and my friends are my everything. When things aren’t right with them, I’m not right.

I especially love these things, in no particular order. Probably gives you a few clues as to who I am: the rush of seeing a live music performance, writing long letters, my favorite bar – The Gin Mill, reading, both the movie and the book High Fidelity, running (on most days), Carolina Panthers football, Guinness, sushi, Sugar-Free Red Bull, Sharpies, sleeping, big glasses of red wine, To Kill A Mockingbird, M&Ms, shrimp, getting enveloped in a bear hug, sunshine, and cooking.

These are my thoughts on my life, the music that colors my world, the things that matter – and more often, the things that don’t.
